No Iveco diesels on IAA stand

At the upcoming IAA truckshow in Hanover, Germany, Italian truckbrand Iveco will only show trucks with LNG driven engines or electric motors on their stand, CEO Pierre Lahutte confirmed at the IAA pre-pressconference in Frankfurt.

Iveco is a true advocate of LNG trucks and it has sold some 2000 of these trucks last year only. This year, Iveco expects to realize a sharp upturn of LNG-driven trucks, as now they can offer a 460 hp model on top of the already succesfull 400 hp version. Dieseltechnology is under discussion in Germany, and Iveco wants to show that it has entered the next era of road transport technology.

Iveco is very succesfull with it's range of heavy vans, the Daily. From this model, Iveco can now offer versions driven bij LNG, compressed natural gas, and a fully electric version as well.
